Migraine Foundation Aotearoa New Zealand is actively involved in migraine research. One of our key objectives is to support New Zealand-focused research on migraine and collaborate with researchers in planning, recruiting and disseminating findings.
Our Migraine in Aotearoa New Zealand (MiANZ) 2022 Survey was our first research project, which asked about a wide range of issues affecting people with migraine in Aotearoa. We followed this up in 2025 with a survey on triptan use. On this page you’ll find our published research papers, plus other New Zealand research relevant to migraine.
