Migraine features in Neurological Foundation’s Headlines magazine

Migraine disease and Migraine Foundation Aotearoa New Zealand featured in the Neurological Foundation’s Autumn 2025 Headlines magazine.

The feature article: A new era in migraine treatments, focuses predominantly on the CGRP monoclonal antibody medications for migraine, through discussions with Professor Peter Goadsby and Professor Debbie Hay during our Migraine Unravelled event on 30 November 2024.

Another article features one of our co-founders Sarah, who discusses how Migraine Foundation Aotearoa New Zealand was established in 2022 with the other co-founders Fiona and Suzanne. The article includes a brief writeup about our 2022 Migraine in Aotearoa New Zealand survey and how we continue to use the data to advocate for our migraine community.

The feature was nicely rounded off with two women in New Zealand who live with migraine, sharing what it’s like living with this debilitating condition. Their stories are unfortunately all too common, and sharing personal stories like these is so important to help raise awareness of the true impact of migraine.

Thank you to the Neurological Foundation NZ for helping to raise awareness about migraine disease.
